Hi Guys, I have an '88 FZR 400 with a std 18" rear wheel. Are there any wheels off other bikes in 17" I can replace it with ? I have heard that a TZR wheel is an option.:gob:

Go to www.madsi.co.uk they have heaps of good tips (including wheel swaps) for FZR400 models. Seems like there isn't much that will fit without a bit of fettling though, but worth a go, as there isn't much range in 18" tyres. Im having the same probs :crybaby:

Are you going to raise the forks through the yokes to compensate for the increased rake angle due to the smaller wheel (which will lower the rear)?

Or:

Place a thin spacer under the rear shock mount to raise the rear slightly to compensate.
