I cant seem to bring the mighty volty to life. :(
Whenever i try and start it ( its electric start only ) all it does is whine then click and cut out. :bye:
I thought it could be because i left my lights on, but they turn off when the bikes is swithed off... and i was told by a guy at smiths scooters that the power doesnt drain that way. I only hadnt used it for a couple of days now.
I dont know what to do, anyone got any suggestions? :wait:

Charge the battery then try again, my wife had one and it happened once. She never left the lights on again tho.

Have you tried jump starting it off another bike or a car? If that makes it go then your battery has gone to the great bike wreckers in the sky and you need to get another.
Fourty bucks or so. Happened to me. Life expectancy for a bike battery is apparently 3 years so if yours has never had it changed, then that's likely to be the cause.

Not hard, under the seat is the easiest from memory, there should be a little cover to remove to access it. Pretty straight forward.

find a hill push it up it .......put it in first gear......hold clutch in....roll down hill till going fast.....while standing up on the pegs......simultaniously dump clutch and drop your ass on the seat to get weightr on the wheel....itll go vroom...
if you can't find a hill get some neighbours or family mates watever to push the fooker at least itll run and you might be able to get some charge in the battery if you ride it for 15 mins or so
yep push start it.
I left my lights on the other day - doh:angry: seems is you turn the key past lock it goes to park and leaves the lights on.
so put it in second gear, held clutch in, ran through carpark and jumped on seat letting clutch out and voila. no worries mate, just go for a bit of a ride to charge up the bat.
