I've only recently starting using the New Posts button to see any new posts (which is way easier than looking through all the different boards.... lol I know I'm a bit slow)

However as great as this function is....

How come is doesn't show new posts from PD?

Because posts in PD do not count towards post counts....

The point of PD is that it exists in the bowls of KB never to see the light of day.

well, I've always had a thought... so perhaps I'll just chuck it here, as it pertains to the "New Post" function.

Have any thoughts been giving to perhaps allowing users to select which forum areas show up?? ie, I know nothing about cruisers, say, so can't help people with those problems either. If there was an option in the User CP to, say, not show up cruiser new posts??

With the increased number of users using KB, the number of posts in a 24 hour period has been slowly rising, and I would say that in a 24 period, at least 6 pages of threads are modified, if you check every 24 hours.

However, I don't want to create extra work for Spank, as I would guess he has plenty on his plate already...

I think thats a great idea... then I can weed out the "Meetings and Events" section until I get my bike back... and some other threads...

That explains the stench. But toilet humour IS funny.

Yes,instead of ''new posts'' I'd like to have ''useful posts'' on my control panel - then I wouldn't get 3 pages of one liner banter from 250 and sprotsbike riders talking about nothing at all.

no - that would be 'bowels'......

as Spank said 'bowls' we have to assume he means it's a playground [just like PF said  ]
