Personally, I don't think you could call him a loser. How many of us are doing EXACTLY what we wanted to do with our lives and making a damn fine living to boot.

I don't think never winning a race since Rossi cursed him could be described as doing EXACTLY what he wants

I thought you were doing it..........you mean you lied to me?
I don't see any riders from NZ in MotoGP - looks like we are a whole country of losers....
On a good day Sete is still the only guy in the whole field who can take it to Rossi for a full race - no one has really stepped up to the plate to claim his No2 statis.

In the realm of MotoGP, Sete is the loser. The guy has been dogged by mechanical problems, confidence problems, gravity problems, can't-stay-on-my-bike problems, not-only-will-I-take-myself-out-but-5-others problems, etc.
It goes without saying the guy is a better rider, richer, and doing what 99.9% of us will never do. I think that is plainly obvious, yet still some here feel the need to point it out. However it still stands that the guy is a loser.

I still laugh everytime I think of it. Not laughing at the crash so much, but just before the race I said 'I wonder how many laps until Sete falls off or has a mechanical failure?' Fuck the guy didn't even make it to the first corner upright, I honestly couldn't believe what I saw. That's what makes it so funny.
The guy is a better rider than me, richer than me, etc etc etc, but I still wouldn't want to wear any of his gear! I remember last time I was in Japan (last year) looking to spend some free points I had earnt at Racing World. Saw some MotoGP gear, I looked and looked but all the V. Rossi stuff was sold (except the 05 R1 MotoGP fairing set). Could've however walked out with armfulls of Biaggi or Sete gear. Yeah right.

No,he's certainly not a loser,he's no more a loser than 3rd placed Rossi who has had bike problems and crashes this year. He's a guy at the very top of motorcycling achievement, giving it everything he's got,and more,he has no mind problem,I would bet his mental preperation is second to none. The real losers are those who think they are exalted enough to critisise him,and yet have done absolutely nothing with their small lives.

I thought this was going to be a new Honda ad, like the one I saw at the cinema.

I bet his riding kit sponsor isn't smiling. Not at around $8000 per suit.
I suppose it does show that it crashes well.
I see his girlfriend is still around though.

No,he's certainly not a loser,he's no more a loser than 3rd placed Rossi who has had bike problems and crashes this year. You mean third placed Rossi, last man to win a 500cc championship, only man to win a 1000cc MotoGP championship

I prefer the statement near the start of the movie "Faster" to the effect,
"Any guy who can ride one of these is a hero."
While the comment was made specifically regarding the 500 two strokes, it probably still applies in large measure to the current MotoGP bikes .
The consensus seems to be that next years' 800s will probably be more difficult to ride than the current 1000s.
There are no mugs in MotoGP, if someone of marginally lesser talent appears they don't tend to stay around too long.

Nah, he's still a loser. A very talented loser, with bigger balls than me, more talent in his little finger than I have in my whole body. However you'll notice I said 'in the realm of MotoGP'. Fuck it's all just fun anyway, the guy is an awesome rider, just having bad luck.
Never ever been crtical of anyone in the spotlight Motu??
