This guy is good.

Last month I needed the 1000k service on the MV. He did it the next day. Yesterday, a very kind motorcyclist told me that my rear light was out. Bloody Italian electrics! But I guess I'm lucky it didn't catch fire. Quick call to the Surgeon and he said bring it in now. It was a tough job locating the electrical fault but he got there in the end and the new bulb is working well.

NO CHARGE - what a guy.

It's because he wants you back as a customer with your flashy money and flashy bikes.

Good 'on em though.

pffft I found the fault on my bike fairly quickly last night!

Then fixed my alarm up myself!

But then blew my alarm up as I was working in a carport with a desk lamp for light !!

I would hope he wouldnt have charged you for a light bulb, particulaly because your a "customer" of his. How long did it take him to diagnose it was a blowen bulb??:slap:

Given that it's an eyetalian bike it could have been any number of electrical issues!

Unlike electrical faults on Suzuki's caused by pistons going through batteries.

My experience with Alfas is that fixing one electrical problem in an Italian vehicle invariably generates a new and different electrical problem somewhere else. Keep going until you end up with a problem you can live with - in my case an interior light that only works with the bonnet open (go figure).

Interesting people the Eyties.
