Yup $248.00 thats what we raised from this ride people, money already in the clutches of our server paying leader Spankme.

Thanks to the 80 odd people that turned up for the day, it was a real winner with no problems and a great days riding.
Im thinking we might have a annual event on this one.

Anyway, thanks to you all.

Good one and with the added bonus that the ride was fucking exelent when I first started to go on KB rides of about 15 to 20 bikes there was always somone bining it so for 80 to complete a longish ride like that with no accidents is fuckin fantastic

Good one with the monies raised, yeah Ol fantapants:nya: does have some good ideas. A few Months back met a group from Auckland @ TeKuiti and took them down through the back roads out to Whanga & had a feed @ the pub and said godbye to them as they where off to Taupo that day via the Forgotten Highway (read a rather long day).

Doesn't that involve some extensive gravel road riding or is that from the other end??

Tis all seal from the Stratford end but past Whanga is the tangarakau gorge with a fairly well packed metal section.

And....gravel wrecks sportsbikes and potentially sportsbike tyres, have no issues riding on gravel (unless I didn't know it was lying across my chosen path on a blind corner) thats where my riding started, that & mud.
