A two-year-old boy has had an eye glued together while being treated in hospital for a head wound.

Nathan Tolley of Cannock was being treated at Stafford District Hospital on Friday when a nurse dropped glue meant for his wound on to his eye.

Staff tried for more than three hours to free his eye before he was taken to Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary.

Experts say his eye should eventually work itself free. His parents are angry such a mistake was made.

Thanks Swanny,

Not much different to the slack bloody hospitals here in NZ!

The other articles on that page were very interesting too, especially the one about Arena (France) building UK nuclear power plants.

Cheers John.
