hi guys....just bought this fxr but as sad as i will be to see it go i'm upgrading road bike so my baby has to go as i need the money..

only purchased approx 1 1/2 weeks ago

exhaust has been shortened and an under the motor short muffler fitted... so that it won't scrape when you get the pegs down on the track which they are prone to doing if the standard muffler is left on

the wiring loom has been stripped out to the bare minimum you need for racing saved over a kilo off excess weight...

ive just repainted it ...wheels white with white tank and front mudguard and a metallic silver rear cowling.

when i bought it i got it a little cheaper as the wrecker wanted to keep all the speedo and lights etc...so sorry don't have any of that but did check the k's on the digital display before i took it all off and was at 33,000

this bike starts up everytime even on cold morning ive been able to fire it up first kick no choke sometimes takes a couple but if you put the choke on she fires right up...

still has the ignition barrel in it with key...

ive ridden it probably 2 km's total just to run it through the gears etc...all gears are fine there is no smoking or funny noises from the motor...seems to have been a very well cared for motor...

has pirelli mt75 tyres front and rear with hardly any tread depth wear

the bike has not been raced yet

i also just put on a new crankcase cover on the right hand side as old one had some road rash...i suspect it had a very low speed low side bin before i got it and the cover had a small road rash hole in it so i replaced that also.

and the only thing broken on it is the right hand side footpeg hanger bracket which needs to be tig welded the one on the otherside i have already has tig welded so that good to go
all it needs to be raced now is some nylon or rubber to be put on the ends of the footpegs and some corks in the bar ends...and a bit of wire through the sumpplug so it cannot come undone during racing (all these must be done as stated in MNZ rule book)

i'm up for a pretty quick sale because i need to get the money to pay for the new road bike...

$1000 ono

ill try get some pics soon...but if your interested best to come look at it

i'm in the sin bin right now so can't accept pm's or send pm's and everything i post gets moderated so replys may take a while to appear in the thread.

so best to email me ....or i'm very often on msn messenger in the late afternoon / evenings on the same account...
