I picked up my new bike last night :D :D
A wee kr150 already in race trim.
It has been raced before with some success, second in SS ive been told, maybe someone knows more about its past?
i plan to race it in street stock when i get a towbar etc sorted....
Any advise is welcomed as i have never done anything like this before,
as i understand i need to join the VIC club?
Heres a few pics from last night :doobey:

I will be taking to the motott track day in 2 weeks to see how slow i am, should be a blast! :D

That RG100 ain't too shabby himself.

Yep, welcome to racing mate. The KR sounds like a good bike, hope you got a sweet deal. With regard to getting racing, you just have to join any club, but VMCC is pretty good to deal with, and their club fees are very reasonable. Then once you have your club membership you can apply for your race licence.

Is an excellent guide what you have to do, and the rules around getting into Streetstock. A very helpful informative and pleasant read.

Can't wait to see you out there, if you hurry you might be able to get in for next Saturday the 22nd of July. But you would have to be quite pushy.

Great stuff Kiwifruit. Now we'll be able to see if that GSXR1000 has made you a fast rider, or just a lazy one! :wait:

What you need now is to offer someone with another KR150 a free MotoTT track day to compare your speed to them...

The rear tyre claims to be a "Dunlop roadmaster gp", certainly doesn't look all that grippy, i guess i will find out about that too!

Hey Kiwifruit that rear tyre is a TT100 and the GP part of it's name is very important it means the tyre is made with sticky race compound rubber. I have used this sort of tyre myself and they are very good:yes: proably the best small section 18 inch you can get.
