Given that most rides are organised with the specific purpose of riding to a particular destination in a manner that is often illegal (I mean, even learner rides break the speed limit sometimes!), I guess we're in for a bollocking sooner or later.

Spankme will be asked to hand over ISP details for the most prolific offenders, those who admit to (sssshhhhh....) 111k or more on the open road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and as for those people who dare to overtake cars... you're busted!

Or perhaps the cops are gonna target real crime like kids being taken advantage of, fraud and identity theft. But I somehow don't think it will produce the financial returns a private enterprise such as the Police need to continue operating. It's more cost effective to stick laptops with wireless broadband into a Commodore.

Call me paranoid but that's why I edited a post this morning and deleted the location of my ride in the weekend...

Yeap same here ain't done a kbr ride since a small badly organised spur of the moment kaiaua ride a few months ago, I don't know if i'll do any more to be honest. Thurs night one time maybe but i'll go straight to the pub...

Maybe, but Spud and Scummy are out in the sticks, D50 is stuck in a cage getting cats out of trees. Patrick is only a threat to the 'Naki guys. Bikey cop is in Sarf Auck so he only sees Islanders in old piece of shit cars. And that leaves Nodman, but there's only one of him.
The odds seem fairly good to me.

Mmmmm! Unless they let slip to their mates... Not sayin' they would of course! O'course those of us who ride within the law have nothing to fear...:innocent: As somebody said, one should consider speeding tickets as a "fun tax"! I prefer to minimise my taxes and haven't had a ticket since about '95 when I got caught by a fixed camera at 61k in Auck. Had many moments when thought, "Glad I wasn't speeding!" though!:yes:

One advantage of riding and older, less powerful bike is the lower risk of giving in to temptation. Or is it 'cause I'm an older, less powerful biker...?:scooter:

My problem with the pigs using this site to organise a sting on a group ride is that it is akin to a pig who smokes a little weed (do I hear cries of derision, yeah right, the pigs don't toke!) dobbing in all his mates while on shift, after passing the bong around with them the night before.

Don't even get me started on their sexual escapades...
