KK Malaysia (http://www.wellingtonnz.com/RestaurantsAndShopping/Restaurants/KK+Malaysian+Restaurant/KK+Malaysian+Restaurant.htm) (Map (http://www.zoomin.co.nz/nz/wellington/te+aro/ghuznee+street/54/-kk+malaysian+restaurant/)) on Ghuznee Street is the nominated venue for some of the more southern KBers to get together for a bite.
I'm thinking a 12pm start. As the place is on the smaller side and popular I'll reserve a table if I can. For that I need numbers.
Are you interested?...

I have to have a filling (i.e. Dentist) at 9am. Fukkit, I'm in. Be warned that KK can get insanely busy. Would be cool to book a table though - if possible.

I really likey KK Malaysia but at this meeting they provide us with lunch. And seeing as I have to give a couple of reports Im guessing that I should be there. Most Mondays are like this for me, this one just been was an exception!

If Mondays are a hassle should we go for another day of the week? This just followed on the from the lunch of last week at Arizona that started a Monday trend. I'm usually OK Mon/Tues or Wed with other commitments typically Thurs or Fri.

Im not to fussed what day... I do try and get to the gym at lunchtime when I can so i'll only come along if and when I can make it anyway.

I can't make mondays or weds. Any other day of the week is good for me. I want to come along sometime and meet all you lot.
merv
18th July 2006, 18:32
So is Tuesday the day? Then MikeyG, Str8 and Velox should be able to make it as well as us semi-retired types.

Mondays. Don't fanny around. There is no perfect day of the week for such endeavours.

Except every day - gotta eat.
Well maybe I don't gotta eat seeing I don't fit my leathers too well now.

Monday is it. Someone else can pick a day that suits them next time.
I'm not going to change it now and then have someone else say 'If you make it blah-blah I can come'. Monday is it. :nya:

Yeah you need a longer lunch break more often.

Just a different job will be enough.

We could both do with a better job....
We could both do with a better job....
Merv is right, I need another job.
Probably something that dosent involve enforced use of computers would be nice.
It would however a lot of time on my bike, but not in rush hour and on different roads.
The pay would be good too, it doesn't need to be too high, say a couple of hundy thou a year.
any ideas?

You want to become an MP, you do.
You want to become an MP, you do.
Sounds good to me.
Unfortunatly I don't really agree with anything out there
http://www.elections.org.nz/parties/registered_political_parties.html
so...
I would need to stand as an Independant or perhaps the KiwiBiker party.
All we need is 500 members and follow the process.
http://www.elections.org.nz/parties/how_register_party.html
Then get about 35,000 votes in the next election.
Easy...

I'd settle for some career development, a fair and equitable pay scale, and a decent working environment.
Skunk
26th July 2006, 08:29
I'll settle for not being micro-managed and in an industry were it's ok to finish for the day.
Str8 Jacket
26th July 2006, 08:33
Sounds like I have it pretty sweet then... Though after working here for 4 years I know how to "get around things" and it helps that my bosses think I do more work than I actually do too I suppose!

Or at least they used to until they read this. . .

lol! Nah I really do, its just that what it takes the others to do in 3 weeks only takes me 1 or 2 and I have my reporting done. That gives me alot of "spare" time...
