Powervalve adjustment.

I removed the cover for the valve adjuster on my rg and noticted that they were well out of adjustment. I followed the instructions on the sheet I've attached, until I reached the step on adjusting the cable slack.

I can't really see what it wants me to do, or how to do it. ZorsT, fruitloops etc, know what I'm meant to do next?

Ok this is what I meant. Aligning the marks is simple. But how do I adjust the cable slack. There is meant to be no slack on B and 0.5 to 3.5mm on A. I seem to have it backwards, B is slack and A is taught. :spudwhat:

in your first pic undo the locknuts (5) at the bottom of each adjuster and screw them up a few turns.

then screw in for loose, or out for tighter, the long brass adjusters (6) & (7). jiggle the cable outer up and down while turning the adjusters unitl the correct slack is reached.

tighten the lock nuts again.
