I do 400Km a week commuting. Every second or third weekend I'll do a ride anywhere from 100 - 600Km. Girl friends parents live in Auckland and we usually visit at least once a month - she takes the car and I ride :2thumbsup It certainly saves on unwanted conversations on a long trip.
25,000 miles in a year which is 40,000kms (I think)
But I do commute.

Well so far about 13000kms in 6 months, but the total time my bike has been in the shop........ about a month :( if i include my work bike, its probably up around the 18000km mark, which means about 36000kms a year

Done 13000km in the last year since I got the Fixxer. Usually always commuting or just pissing around.
Hmmm lets see. Say a generous 20 track days/races at an average of 40 laps of a 2.8km circuit = 2240kms for me!!

You needed a button for "Absolutely No Idea", for cretins like me who don't record their mileage, could work it out, but can't be bothered.
Oh - make that 2 (two) buttons - you need another one for "Who Cares?"
On third thoughts, make that three (3) new buttons - you need one for blatant liars: "A Bajillion kms/year".

They went past Pukekohe insted of going through the back roads. If we hadn't waited on the side of the road (the stop that was just before you and Grant were enjoying a nice view of the sky together), we would have all caught up to them cause we ended up being about 10mins behind them.

I did 70,000km on my HD Tour glide in the first twelve months I had it.
I was living in OZ and on a mission to see as much of the place as I could.
On my current ride I have done a grand total of 5,000km in just under twelve months.Havn't even ridden it for a month, needs new chain an sprockets and every time I go to buy em' something else comes up.Like Hunting, fishing,a couple of shooting comp's,an all the costs that go with em,to much work an not enough time.Lookin' at four new tyres for the Nissan soon,,$250each,Choke

I only do about 10k a year now but did spend 18 months as a london courier doing a minimum of 600 miles a week. Some weeks I'd clock up over 1500 miles if I got a job to Liverpool or something. (200 miles each way.)
I did hit 600 miles in a day once on the job. 200 miles in and around London over the day then picked up an urgent run to Liverpool at 5pm. Got to Liverpool via a couple of other drops on the way at about 11:00pm and back into London about 2am.

I've managed 7000kms over the last 12 months.....just getting on the bike and fucking off to get away from the kids for a while !!......As they get older I'll go further more often !! I know that if I was able to I would rack up a hell of lot more but the opportunities are rare.....Still now my eldest is 14 I can go in the weekends instead of just during school hours ........

..just getting on the bike and fucking off to get away from the kids for a while !!..... Sheesh, I get on mine to go and see the kids - seeing as how they are in Palmy and Wellingtown and I'm in the Big Smoke, means I clock up a few k's seein the kids. But only if I have to!

what, max only 40k km per year???
i have done 16k km on the zed and prob over 30k km in a cage (work and mine) in the last year. i work for a civil engineering company in te kuiti which tenders for work from anywhere from hamilton, taupo, new plymouth areas. normally do 500km per week alone in commuting then another say 5-600km at work with the most i have ever done is 3300km in one week.
some of the older guys at work have been given awards for doing over a million k's for the company :eek5: . flag that!

After all the crap weather last year, especially in Auckland, but not limited to there.
Rained practially every day..
Well if anyone did over 10,000 last year, then I estimate that at least 8,000 of that would have been wet kms eh ?
Ya deserve a medal, after me of course

just rolled over 10 600 for the year. That includes about 3 months of the bike being off the road and my first year of learning on a bike over 250. I plan on riding aroun 15 k this year, including a trip to Wellington at some time.
And most of that was dry riding 80-20 split.

I've had the bike since mid October. It's been off the road for a month in that time (Red Barren Service :argh: )...
I bought her with 33000 on the clock and she's up to 36500 now - so that makes it 3500 miles every 2.5 months. - that puts me at 16800 a year (not bad for a learner)

I commute daily on the SRX - approx 6500km annually
long rides on the XJR - say 6000km (I averaged 7000km per year on the TRX)
dirty riding on the WR - approx 1500km
And I got a car
glad I don't have to walk that far
