Aussies had their game face on, a NBA starting centre, against the best coach to have worked in Australian sports in ANY code or sport, in Melbourne where they know bball and are a hostile crowd - and the TB's kicked.

Obviously deserve their 4th ranking.
It's the world cup I'm looking forward too.
Yanks are no certs any more.

Yup, big up to the tall blacks!

The rest of the world is slowly catching upto the USA.
Granted they dont put their best team forward usually.
Bit like the baseball classic i guess.

Yup. Well done.
And well done Maori TV for being the only NZ broadcaster to air the match live.

Yes - second all of that - Big well done Maori TV (getting to be a VERY good channel INHO) and a bigger well done to the TB's - stellar effort really.

I hope they keep going at this rate - Its a sensational game when it's played well...

I thought they were doomed to failure when all the news items said how they HAD to win the game! Good on them, nice to see we can still beat the Aussies at something!

I love the way the Tall Blacks play basketball. And last night's game -- particularly the final quarter -- was magnificent. Historical in fact.

And a bloody big ups to Maori television for broadcasting it live.

I hope you all aprecitated the "Furnware/Bodyfurn" logos on the tall blacks shirts... The boss spent so much becoming the principle sponsor that none of us factory workers will get a pay rise in the next 20 years

Thank you. Your sacrifice is valued.
