G'day, my name is Yarrive, some of you may know me, and others may not. Either way I am calling on riders and racers to provide real (and impersonal) opinions on STROKE. We have created it with one purpose - Lift the profile of Motocross, Supercross and the racers that make it what it is.
We need Hero's.

Your opinion counts

Thanks

i normally like adb but they are always giving crap away and charge extra for it( im a student so dont want to pay extra for something i dont want) but dirt action on the other hand is cheap and a good read to(i havent bought stroke yet)

i think news about current overseas(aus and nz riders) and local riders including up and coming riders is important too. the tech section is also good like bike setup and performance part tests.

just my opinion though

I got my latest ADB in the mail last night and it came with a quite stylish beanie. I feel this is important to maintain reader loyalty.

What an unfortunately sad name for a magazine. Obviously it was not well audience tested. Not the sort of thing one would like to have displayed on one's coffee table least one become subject to unfortunate ribbing from one's peers...

Or even worse making the purchase in a packed store, you'd want to ensure everyone saw it was actually a motocycle magazine. Still depends on you perspective and whether you give a sh*t wot others think.

What stores will the mag be available in?

sorry you feel that way about the name, we have sent it all over the world and everybody seems to love the name. Title aside, what do you think of the mag.

Found the mag in Aus last week - haven't seen it here. All I can say (female perspective) is it suits the name. Buy it again? No thanks.
Good luck with your venture, I'm sure other females (probably younger & who race) will be interested, but I'll stick to the mags about what I enjoy (adventure & trail).
Oh, good to see the blurb about Katherine Prumm (had to finish on a positive note) ;)

Seen that issue2 yesterday. For starters the name doesnt bother me at all, its got a bike on the front, not some semi naked female. Secondly i was impressed by the thickness, its about 10 times thicker than the old Aussie dirt biker magazine i have laying about. Personally im going through a road-race phase so i didnt pick it up, but summers coming and trail riding desires are building again, i will have a flick through it at some stage. Keep them coming i say.

I bought mine from the dairy that I buy ice cream from on the way back from the forest. Haven't really seen it much else where.
Funny thing is, about a year ago when I was in hospital the book shop there (middlemore) had a copy of Racer X. Its the only place I have ever seen that mag and as I recall was a pretty good read too.

Is it the tiny one? run by indians I think? If I hae got it right, I think I know which one you mean, as when i used to go mountain biking during the week , i used to stop at the dairy to grab a pie on the way home.
