I think I have narrowed it down to one of these three boxes. Can someone tell me which is the CDI. I could be looking for the wrong thing though!! Thanks

first pic i think.

mine has 2 lots of 6 pins sooo..

- - - (gap) - - -
- - - (gap) - - -

But then again mines a bandit, mines also on a tray/drawer that clips (permanently locked) on the inside if that helps

edit: the cdi probably consists of about 4 capicitors, some transistors, a few chips and a circuit board ;)

Thanks wasp. I plan to bypass the speed restriction circuit. By fooling it into thinking that it is recieving normal current, with a 3.3kohm resistor.

Pull them out one by one, when your bike doesn't start, you'll know. :weird:

It's the first one. :innocent:

I had a list of readings for what would happen if i connected a multimeter to each of my pins.

Thing is I could never get it to read anything.... so i quickly put it back in and hoped the bike didnt notice :shifty:
