Recently someone mentioned the spellcheck on the Google toolbar, which was the first I'd heard of the Google toolbar.

Here is the second time I've seen mention of this potentially useful addition...

If you have it, remove it. It will break IE.

News to me but I use Opera and Firefox mainly. Still, never had any problems with the Google Toolbar in OE.

I recommend it and try an alternative browser if you don't have one. Firefox is the most popular and Opera is even better.

Bollocks it will break IE.

Google toolbar is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I've used the Google toolbar on IE at work for over two years. Not a problem.

At home, on Firefox, I installed the Google Lite bar. Now I can't get the thing uninstalled (as I'd like to install the full-blown Google bar) and attempting to do so causes significant grief. So I am leaving well enough alone...

BAH, Spyware .... same as AOL who have had there wrists slapped about using it as an excuse to load there own spyware....
