I think that was secretly filmed at Otematata just before I got out of bed one day last week. :blip:

According to the weather widget on the Mac I use at work, at the south pole the temperature hasn't been above -55°C in weeks. Was -68°C the other day. Now THATS cold

Those scenes are beautiful - like nature's sculpture....wouldn't want to have to have a piss in it though - even the steam would freeze and it could hurt breaking the piss off once you've finished.

Wow. Those pictures are pretty amazing. (I was going to say, "those pictures are pretty cool" but then I thought the better of it.)
Can you imagine how neat it would be to wake up one morning and have everything look like that? Not so amazing if you wanted to ride your bike, but still.
I mean it's all nice and well living in Auckland, but snow and ice do make things rather pretty.

did anyone try the maze at the bottom of the page?
very interesting with the sound turned up!
I went to Helsinki and parts of the harbour there freezes over. Imagine that here in Wellington, no more splitting down SH2!!

ARGH, it just reminds me of sitting my BHS and having to ride slowly between those frikkin' close together lines. :eek5:
Remind me never to lane split.
