Took the new GSXR 750 out for the day as my bus was having new tyres today. What a great bike! I was thinking it may be a little low in the grunt but it suprised me. It did'nt have the shear punch like the 1000 k5 but keep it up above 10000 revs and i was all smiles. Get it cranked over in the twisties and not much would touch it. I think it would be the bees knees on the track, like to get the thing on Taupo and see what it could really do. This is a really well put togather bike and for $18000!!. Will have to save some coin and one.

I'D always gone for litre bike and above and love the K5 750 i bought at xmas , i thiought it wasent big enough, when i was running it in,
So i bought a Hayabusa as well with yoshi,PCII,K&N, and other bitz on it, and found i that the 750 was way better bike so gave the bus to the misses , she wouldnt ride it as it was to fast, So sold it and only did 2k on it , many ove my freinds have ridden the 750 now that have 1000 and are seriously thinking on down sizeing at the end ove the year , only thing is you need to ring its neck a little more :first:

All the reviews rave about them. Not having ridden one myself yet, but they all say you get the handling of the 600 with enough torque and power for the real world.

many have said, the new 750 is probably the best compromise for the road between the 1 litre bikes and the 600's as you can use all it's power on the road and apply a fair bit of stick out of the corners without being too worried the bike is going to spit you off.

I suppose, if you like wringing necks, this is the bike you would want but at least you can use all it's potential off the track, if you like riding 'above' the law. :)
