Will shop here didn't have my Z6 as asked for on Friday so they gave me a M3 Mezty rear at a cheap deal to try out so they could get some feed back on them for future sales , Set out today out to Wanga for a scrub in / test run on the new rubber & have to say these are a Excellent tyre , the road was wet , slippery & dry so was a great test bed to see what the tyre could do . To cut a long story short it blew me away , 35min from Stratford to the Wanga Pub , if ya know this road that is Fucken quick for a DRY road in Summer let alone wet , had a Jim Beam at Pub & checked tyre heat which was good & had a talk to a mate that turned up then adjusted the Ohlins steering damper & shock to suit the speed which I was going to push the old K3 at for the run back home . 30min flat coming out due to the fact I had checked the road coming in & knew where it was to wet to push hard coming back . Tyre was EVIL nothing less, kept forgeting about the front as I was focusing on what the rear was doing & so much that I pushed it out from under me about 3 times going to hot into corners but the M1 Mezty is very perdictable & slides very well with out tucking under . Decided to do another road which I'm doing for a Group ride in 2 weeks & just found myself laughing at how sweet this tyre was & the confidence it gave you through the feed back , Going by the wear today I think 6000K will be about the lenght this tyre will handle but may be less if you don't have Ohlins suspenion . Will keep ya posted with how it goes

I've just reached 10k on my front and rear M3's. Still going strong.

I don't think my 150+ RWHP GSXR will get that much but will have some fun before then . I'm running a M1 front as have done 3 of these & they are bloody top tread .

Glad you like your M3's. I have them on my 900 Hornet and they are awesome. I upgraded from the Z6's to the M3's. With the M3's the ride quality feels slightly harder than the Z6's, meaning that you feel the bumps just a little bit more compare with the Z6 which is bloody good.

The M3's warm up quickly, and it grips very well when warm. As to reading what the tire is doing, I think the tire is too sticky for my suspension. As the stock suspension is having trouble controlling it at speed, never the less I have learnt to trust the tire and its stickyness amaze me.

Have ordered an Ohlins rear shock for the 919, which should improve the feel muchly.... :innocent:

You'll find the M3 front is better again.
