There's a memory, my Bro' bought a brand new T125 Stinger back in about '71 and in its day that was a nice bike to ride. The lack of gas mileage was a problem it could not go from Napier to Wairoa on a tank doing only about 50 miles or 80kms on a tank. The noise they made I reckon was priceless - not loud but sweet.

I have also been looking for a Stinger for some years now. There has been the odd one on TardeMe but generally so rough that it wouldn't be worth it.

Actually I'd like 2 of them, one to use as a commuter and to tease those hot 250 riders with, and one to turn into a bucket.

I can't find any photos of my Bro's Stinger here, I guess they are all back in Napier. I found this pic from my Uni days at Ilam Halls in ChCh and lo and behold a Stinger sits at the end of the row - sorry pic is a bit fuzzy.

Then a shot from the other direction - a few interesting bikes there - but that's what we rode in '73.

My first bike was an A100 - in the next pic and yeah I fussed over the bikes then too - here it is after a clean.

Also found this pic of my Bro's Benelli 180 I mentioned on Str8's "Get a decent bike" thread - priceless!

Sorry not helping you find a Stinger Dave because my Bro' sold his after a few years.

I had a T125 Stinger - got it from a neighbour and rebuilt it 100% when I was a teenager in the late 70s. Great little bike. Was in my back yard for ten years until a similar like-minded teenage neighbour took it.
