As Ixion has pointed out here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=32966), we need to sway the law makers opinions. If we show up at the Whakatane workshop they're holding, we'd be able to convince them that bikers need to be heard when law changes are iminent

Yep.
80kph blanket speed limits
Demerit points from speed cameras
Power to weight restrictions on all motorcycles
More restrictions/tougher penalties for young drivers
Double demerits on holidays.

Yeah cept I dont own a scooter any more buddy. bike and scooter cost too much so im down from 6 two wheeled things to one. now possibly two if all goes well.
