1. pull up behind a cruiser at a stop.
2. See the cruiser go forward ASSUME he is pulling away look left and go.
3. Realise that the cruiser hadn't really gone when your arm gouges into his handel bar.....
Sorry again slash. Luckily there was no damage as he laid his fairly heavy beast down nice and gentle like... And I somehow managed to stay on as well... FEck my arm hurts though...
Lessons learnt.
1. To assume makes an ASS out of U and ME ....., but mostly me.
2. make sure the bike in front has gone before pulling forward.
3. wear arm gaurds around cruisers.
4. Try harder to stop being a muppet.

Didn't you train as an engineer at Uni? You'll be giving the profession a bad name.
At least you weren't berating a Jaguar driver at the time like Hitcher was a while back when he hit the van in front.

did something sorta similiar a while back. sitting at the lights in a right hand lane, the lights go green, but filter arrow for right stays red. All I see is green and make my right turn against oncoming traffic!!!!!!!! which luckily where as dozy as I was and I sneaked past shaking my head at my own lack of concentration, and good fortune.

I blame myself - I cleaned the yellow bumblebeerecently, and the sun (yes, there was SUN yesterday!) must have reflected off my astounding amounts of yellowosity and blinded the aff.
Good on the guy on the red Aprillia RSV for stopping too - not a KB'er I don't think.....

diablo's - the devil inside....
The reality is, you were mesmerised by the sight of a cruiser and were wishing you'd got oneof those instead...
