You fellas don't want to have a feed in town and then pop out to the fine establishment that is the Grumpy Mole in the Hutt do you? After not turning up last Thursday they're prob running out of business!
But yep - I'll def pop in and say hi Jill! Wherever that may be.

Wasp
31st July 2006, 23:26
yea was close that time i was denied entry - a bit of quick thinking and i coulda said IR was my dad and hoped he'd caught on as he was halfway through the door already.

stupid thing is ive been in there atleast 3-5 times before no troubles at all....

EDIT: yea come out to the mole! i can go there no worries at all (great thinking V)

Colapop
1st August 2006, 08:32
Barney's?? What's Barney's?? I have no idea what you're talking about...

I'll see you about that crack...

Keystone19
1st August 2006, 09:31
6pm for dinner sounds fine. Sean can I let you arrange all that.

I don't mind heading out to the Grumpy Mole but don't have any transport so would need to bludge a ride. Let me know if I need to bring my riding gear or if cage transport is available.

James Deuce
1st August 2006, 09:57
The Bristol is fine.

I'll be there.

Str8 Jacket
1st August 2006, 09:59
Should be able to pop in and say hi if its at the Bristol. Hutt's a bit to far away for me, soz.

Colapop
1st August 2006, 10:13
Harden up - Hutt Ho's (not the girls of course)

::edit:: I talked to the Huut mob at lunch anf they were ALL keen for the Brisrol.

merv
1st August 2006, 18:57
So are you still talking about starting with a feed at Pasha at 6pm then onto the Bristol, or straight to the Bristol at 6pm?

skelstar
1st August 2006, 18:59
I think we might stick to the traditional Breakers Bar out in Lower Hutt (where thursday nights usually are spent), but dinner in town.

James Deuce
1st August 2006, 19:01
Can't do Breakers. Can do Bristol. If I head to the Hutt my destination is home. If I stay in town I feel less guilty.

Well... if that's what you want.... Woulda been good to meet ya Jill but I spose (someone) just wants to hog all your attention...

skelstar
1st August 2006, 19:37

Can't make Breakers... Can't do Pasha.

Can do Bristol.

Pick a place. Whoever gets there will.

Velox
1st August 2006, 20:31
Ah well it sounds like it might have to be the Bristol then.

Keystone19
1st August 2006, 21:21
Well the solution seems kind of obvious to me...

Dinner at Pashas, 6pm
Drinks at Bristol 7pm
Pool at Breakers after that...

Or is Lower Hutt considered a long way from Wgtn city...:innocent:

It seems to be by most Wellingtonians. I grew up in Auckland, so it feels like going round the corner to me. Most Wellington City Dwellers roll their eyes when I say I live in the Hutt.

"It's too far away," they moan.

Keystone19
1st August 2006, 21:31
lol, I thought that might be the case...

Colapop
2nd August 2006, 08:52
No one is moaning... much

MikeyG
2nd August 2006, 18:15
OK I'm in. Where is Pashas/Barneys on Dixon?

skelstar
2nd August 2006, 18:50
Dixon St.
Ummm....slightly uphill from Cuba Mall. So between Cuba Mall and Victoria St.

skelstar
2nd August 2006, 18:53
Ok, the plan seems to be:
Meet at Pasha at 6pm. Afterwards we will drop into Bristol, then head to Breakers to meet up with Poos and his cadre. Should hopefully be able to get a ride with Weaz in her jeep, Jill. Im sure someone will offer an alternative should that plan fall through.

Ah prob is that I'll be heading to dinner straight from work so will only have the bike! Who's bringing a car? Crazylittleshit will but he won't be heading back into Wgtn. Hmmm. Any volunteers?

skelstar
2nd August 2006, 20:02
poos said he will escort Ms Stone back into town.

Colapop
2nd August 2006, 20:04

So now that Colapop has piked does someone need to bring a car or will there be transport for Jill and others out to the hutt? I can get the car if needed but prefer my bike.

Thanks for a fun night guys. Really great to meet some new people and catch up with some old friends.

Mikey: Where were you?

Dinner was really pleasant and I reckon we got a good deal there Weasel...

Sean, we'll have to partner up for pool again - i definitely seem to play better!

Vicky and Aria: great to catch up, let's work on some ideas.

Cowpoos: I like you car, can I have it?

Helen: Great to meet you too!

Let's hope Auckland airport has opened so I can get home this evening. On the other hand, Wellington's a pretty cool place, I could cope with another night...

Hope you have an early flight then. Last night was a pea soup. Midnight at Westgate was incredible (like... hardly see the lights across the intersection.)

Good to see ya again Jill! Cheers for the dinner too - I owe you a couple of beers next time. Not the cheapest place in the world though eh? Good kai though.

Cheers Sean for sorting it!
