Hi Can someone answer this for me please.
I have an early air cooled KDX200 with the clutch release lever on the right side of the bike. When I pulled the side cover off I removed the the stepped pin that the release bearing mounts on ( this is pushed by the vertical rotating clutch release lever). This stepped pin / pushrod is loose as hell in the side cover. I thought it should be a snug fit with a bush perhaps for it to move back and forth in but there does not seem to be any bush there. Just a large gap
Is it supposed to be like this?
Can someone help with this, I would appreciate it
Cheers PZR

just had a look at my manual for my C3 and it doesnt say anything.

I've never been in there so don't know, looking at the photo it appears that the pin should fit snug into the bearing in the clutch.

the order is the steped pin, a washer and then the spring plate pusher.

There's a couple of diagrams of an early air cooled KDX 200 clutch assembly & clutch cover.
Neither of them show a bush or sleeve in the housing (#14032/A) or on the actuation arm (#13236/A), just an O-ring in the assembly diagram (#670)

Thanks for your help guys. Its wierd as there is approx 1 mm clearance around the pushrod but I guess it must centralise itself in the hole as the release bearing always self centres on the clutch
Thanks

are you refering to 13114 in TWRs first drawing?

Yes 13114 is what I would call a pushrod for want of a better name as it is the connection between the vertical shaft and the release bearing
