Haven't watched the clip. But a guesstimate by the fact that trials, unibike and monster were all mentioned. The clip features Christian Pfieffer.

Truely one of the most talented stunters alive. Puts most of those wannabe dvd yanks to shame.

I've always wondered why people don't use twins for stunting. Just seems logical to me instead of using a revvy 4 cylinder. Must be something to it if the best stunter in the world does the business on Ducati and BMW twins.

they'll use anything, check out http://www.jasonpullenstunts.com/. This guy is incredible!

edit: oh and to answer your question, it's mostly about weight, size and cost... how many small, light and cheap twins can you think of?

That clip was fantastic, I really enjoyed watching it.
You can only feel admiration for someone who is so as one with his machines. :gob:
Thank you for posting it. Cheers John.

Why's that? I change mt opinion so many times I've forgotten what my theory is.There are various forces at work making the motorcycle do what it does,to fixate on just one is not the full picture.

I like the way he turns the Monster side to side with his hands off the bars....at what point does countersteering come into effect? It's not a switch you know....All trials riding tricks - I know I can turn my trials bike just by standing on a peg.90% of what this guy does are trials techniques, but by applying them to different bikes they are out of context and way cooler.

With your hands off the bars doesn't mean the bike isn't counter steering though. I've done the same, hand off the bars and moved my 170kg bike by shifting my body weight around etc, and while doing so noticed the bars counter steering themselves. Magic in'nit?

I wonder what would happen if he fronted up to get the uni cycle certified, warrant rego etc.

That would be a hoot for a hidden video.
