From next year the F1 class will be replaced by a Superbike class with machines built to World Superbike or British Superbike specification will be granted entry to reflect what is raced elsewhere in the world and also to make the TT more relevant to production based machines. This decision means that today effectively the last ever F1 TT was run, with McGuinness the winner.

That's not the only thing that will change. With the biker death toll this year there is now talk of introducing speed limits on the unrestricted roads. Now that would be a shame - speed limits won't deter the idiot element. :disapint:
