Hey Guys,
I am hoping to pick up my bike tomorrow, and It would be cool to go for a nice gentle run on sunday (weather permitting) to stretch its legs and get to know it, Anyone Central/East'ish Auckland keen to go for a cruise? I notice some people were talking about one a while back?

I'm out by Botany Downs - managed to get up at the crack of a sparrow's fart this morning and went for a run out toward Whitford/Maraetai managed to get about an hour and a half of nice riding - turned back when the weather turned pish though. Never mind, spring will soon be upon us then us Eastie 250's can gather like a swarm of angry gnats and head for the twisties.....:scooter:

ive been a couple of routes out east...one was right out to maraitai from whitford/clevdon....another was out to clevdon through some nasty tight stuff that was a bit damp and patchy in places...didnt enjoy that one too much as i was still learning to ride...might like it a bit better now

So are any of you guys planning on doing the coromandal ride on saturday?

I've taken the road out east through Whitford to Maraetai a few times. The Pohutakawa coast road seems great fun and I'm sure a good run would be to go out that way and stop at Miranda for a lunch and a soak in the hot pools.
An idea for us Easties in the Spring perhaps?
I ride through Auckland to get to work - riding through Auckland on a weekend would just be a pain in the arse.

Sounds like a great idea, I have plans on saturday otherwise I would be heading on the CPR run, but should be free sunday if the weather is fine and anyone fancies a run somewhere?

Fellow 250ers, we should do the CPR this Sat (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2006-8-12&e=909&c=1)! come on, get out of that hibernating mode!
If weather is good ofcourse :sunny:

Yeah I'm busy saturday unfortunatly, and first thing (8am) sunday, but am planning to be free most of sunday weather permitting,
So if anyone wanted to meet, say Botany downs, and around say 10 - 11ish, then that could be cool. Or if anyone else has any suggestions for a nice casual run put em up?
