Have a try here TURNERS AUCTIONS (http://www.turners.co.nz/TabId/68/default.aspx?&SearchType=Advanced&VehicleMakeID=107&VehicleModelID=263&YearC=Equal%20To&PriceFrom=All), usually the cheapest way to buy a car (provided you know what you are doing...)

Suggest you try an importer? Most car dealers have whole saler sheets etc, and can get whatever you want, 8 G for a civic seems about right, so you shouldn't have huge dramas?!

Figured as much... That makes it more difficult ever so slightly.
You know they aren't exactly the safest thing on 3 and a half wheels?
Bearing that in mind, the other great (and often neglected) place to look is trade and exchange website. People that sell there don't want to pay to advertise, and often sell cheaply.

Ellerslie car fair, Sunday Mornings.
Bloody brilliant place to buy a car. You can get them checked over by mechanical types onsite, ownership checks, finance ... the whole lot.
It's always my first port of call when buying (or selling) cars
