The Guy on the Harley got clipped by a van driver ( who didn't stop !!) as he came up wellesley behind me and then the harley's footpeg clipped me on the ankle (sore but lucky I wear good boots) Got away with a sprain the guy on the Harley had a broken leg...

We (me and a mate in red SS ute.....yeah the one that did a burnout before the boobs parade....) were going to go see what was up and if we could help but there were enough people around so we didn't want to add to the confusion.

I didn't know the HD rider but he was a bit of a mess after the van hit him,I think he put out his leg to save the bike when the van pulled out from behind the civic then he hit me as I had slowed down for the ped crossing, Luckily he didn't knock me off,just got a serious hit on the ankle from his footpeg which bent my gear lever in and crushed my foot a little.
The Van driver didn't stop I know WTF :angry: I hope the witneses gave the :Police: a good description of the :tugger: They said he was a regular driver that delivered there 3 times a day so hopefully he will get his comeuppence,What goes around comes around...
The HD rider had a couple of mates in town so they came to the scene and looked after him and one took his bike home from him :)
And to top it off St.John ambulance were doing a doco on accidents around auckland so we had a TV camera in our faces (Hi Mum!)
