I thought this was rather cool. Even if its a cage, the gay has done well to fit it and run it.

Hope they did something with the brakes! I could cooked my brakes no worries with a plain old 1000cc motor on the summit road in CHCH when i had a mini. Funniest thing was my little bro in another mini behind me slamming it down a gear to stop him from ramming me on one trip - can you say over rev.

Couldn't open the file at work but here's a crowd in the UK that do bike engine conversion kits for mini's:
http://www.zcars.org.uk/mini/specifications.htm.
The base model has an R1 engine, 160HP pushing along 600kg. Or you can go right up to a turbo hayabusa donk with 400HP pushing along 650kg...YEEEHAAA!

I'm makin' an awful mess dribblin' all over the keyboard....the thing would be pretty cheap to build too....a case of "light blue touch paper, stand well back!"

I've always liked the idea of putting a 'busa mill in one of those lil' rear engined 800cc Suzuki cars, they're smaller than a mini & the rear engine config would make it pretty easy.
Cheers

ah it's a real mini. Sweet. Thought it'd be one of those modern mini's.
