I used to hang out with quite a few racers back in Newcastle. Kev Curtain was a regular in Tony Carrols shop for a Friday afternoon bevvy and then we'd go up the street to the Toronto Workers and watch Willy Mason play for the Scorpions. Not Doohan but a few of his mates. Rusty was there, Graeme Morris would show up once or twice and an array of competent road racers and A graders were present.
Hard to imagine, but I used to shut up and listen.
Anyway NONE of them would have been able to head butt me any higher than the nipple - with a run up and jump.
These guys are tiny by the nature of the beast. Getting headbutted by Mick Doohan would be like getting slapped by a lightweight ffs.
