Amazing how GM, Ford and Chrysler have come to realise old-skool styling SELLS eh?
Pimple face kids don't have the dosh - it's the old farts that couldn't afford them when they were young that now want a car 'like that'.

there was one in town, and parked up every man owning a pair was having a good look as they went past. Then the guy came back to his car and started it, and I swear the 30 odd guys in ear shot all stopped dead and turned and watched it go..7 litres of V8 has that effect on people... there is no substitue for cubes!

I saw this the other day, and I must say it has the sexiest lines on a vehicle second only to the Holden Efijy.

Good call.
One day I'm hoping to modernise a 66 Fastback.
Best of both worlds.
My last yank tank was a 70 SS Chevelle 454, went like fuck and did wicked skids, but handled like a tractor.

Not with the same engine as it!
The GT-500E Super Snake features a supercharged 427-cid aluminum V-8 cranking out 750 horsepower.

All certed and enough grunt to smoke the 305 T/As on the back, and got the noise to match (Fun driving through a car-park buliding in Capital City and hearing the car alarms going off as you pass..

The '64 427 is one of my fav cars. 400bhp in 1964? Thats just nuts.
Spend a few $ on mondernising the chassis, drivetrain and susspension, and that car will pwn most cars on the roads. (and look way better)

The 07 GT in the first strikes me as being curved - like a late model Holden almost. And yet the latest Monaro shape is very square - Chrysllerish (is that a word?)
