I ride 40km to work i should be used to itIt's about $95 I think. And no, it's not hard. I didn't find it hard anyway. You just gotta ride to the conditions/speed limit, and make sure both feet are down at stop signs and give ways etc, and turn your head to check your mirrors, 'cause the tester can't see your eyes.
