I’m sitting at my desk and hear a motorcycle screaming past. I remember thinking not so long ago ‘hoon’. Now I just think of riding the bike and feeling the acceleration, the buzz of giving it a handful, and the exhilaration of the ride...:scooter:
Wish I was out there today...:sunny:

My fine employers are "restructuring". In return I may have to head off on my bike to "seek other employment". I hear there's a big IT hub on top of the takas, another on the heywards, and opportunities in paekak so I'll go check them out.

Its worse when you get 'teased' on the way to work by the short twisties with crappy speed limit ay Jill?
It sure was weird how the cages were going slow this morning tho. I swear I was doing the limit.

Yeah nice sunny day in Welly today too and I had a nice lunch in the sun at One Red Dog with our team down by the waterfront.
I got my bike fix on Sunday on this ride http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=33831 and haven't got the shakes from withdrawal yet seeing I'm only a weekend rider.

Argghh, I nodded at a couple of bikes this morning but didn't recognise anyone. I was heading northwest from Te Atatu.
Prolly would've fallen off if you'd honked at me!

I took my cage to school today, but came lunchtime I thought it was such a stunner of a day, I drove back home and came right back out on the bike. It was still lunchtime and the high school students were still out when they saw me cruising up to the school carpark. They saw me jink onto the footpath to get around the chain link in school hours and then park.
Heh, they were fascinated by riding clobber and I just managed to get back to my class to teach when the bell rang.
I think I will have to hide my ride so nothing stupid will happen to it!
Finished school (we had an open night for new enrolments) around 8.30pm and I blatted off around Manuwera for a while before stopping at my parent's chinese fish and chip shop.
Decided to take the extra long way home and enjoyed the night riding!
