found these on rrzone bloody nice i think:yes: carnt say what year.Looks like the 04/05 Fireblade frame, total custom fairings, and a Ducati single-sided swingarm and rear rim?? Not bad.

lovin the fairings but do not like the wheels or yellow 'highlights'. really like the space between the back wheel and tail piece, makes the bike look un cluttered and clean, id have one.

Maybe, but why not use a Honda swingarm? RC45 perhaps?

Maybe, but why not use a Honda swingarm? RC45 perhaps? That's why i questioned it. I'm familiar with the rear rim so just assumed the swingarm was Ducati too. I'm quite happy to be corrected. :wait:

Now thats some serious project bike. I think you've pretty much nailed it Zed, id be curious to know how much machining was needed to do the single sided swingarm job. The other alternative to the Ducati swap might be something yoinked of a VFR? one of the newer 800s? might be an easier swap if its from the same maker? looks like the sub-frame has ben totally scrapped. Sexy :headbang:

here is the website on how to change the swingarm and you are bang on use a vfr swingarm as same shock mount etc go to the garage link and then blade mods and click swing arm
