Good to hear of his progress mate, hope all continues to improve to plan.

How is the insurance claim going? Will it be long before he is back in the saddle?

Got a few thoughts running through my head regarding the state of the roads, but need to give it a bit more of a crunch before I try and act on anything.

Yeah, they paid out but he recently dropped the value and lower than it should have been. Gary will do track so will pick up a track bike at some stage and he has the Tuono to road ride on. A few more weeks and hopefully he will be back in the saddle.

I don't know any lawyers that ride bikes :(

You would think the insurance companies would be jumping up and down about all the claims they must be getting because of the state of our roads.

Just before I traded the blue and white 1400 for a new black one, I hit a massive hidden pothole on SH22 and dented the front rim :( Would have been a different story if that hole had been on a corner as well.

I like how the roadworkers patch a strip of seal right on your cornering line but just around the corner so you don't see it till you are nearly on it. No signs, a quick pucker and a few twitchies if you are lucky and off to find the next one. :(
