Well seeing as i can get my full any day now (when i bother booking it) i will be on the look out for a new bike. I am looking at anthing sporty For about $3500 possibly an older 400 and due to me weighing about 60kg nothing to heavy either.

Subsiquently as soon as i pass there will be a decent condition zxr 250 on the market

Look on Trade Me. There's a constant stream of zxr/gsxr/vfr/etc 400's. Ususally around 50k, mods, derestricted and in your price range.

Have fun deciding. I'm looking foward to doing the same thing when I get my full.

Go for a VFR400, they are awesome. Look cool and go pretty well aswell (or so I have been told).

I have seen a few on trademe over the last few months for around the 3 grand mark.

yip i've been scanning trade me for a while now and all the good deals seem to have dried up. I'll keep trying though but seeing as i'll only be getting serious in like 2 or 3 weeks i was just wanting to know if anyone else is upgrading and looking to sell a 400. And yes the vfr is at the top of my list which is closley followed by the cbr400rr, gsxr 400 and zxr 400 respectivley. I saw the meanest vfr for sale a yellow one with fairing mods for 3000 so hopefully another deal like that will pop up :banana:
