Why haven't manufacturers taken into account crashability when designing bikes?
Removeable plastic sliders integrated into the design, on the outer most regions of the bike could save thousands on repairs :angry:

I think they should be more interested in designs which help the riders survive than those that save on cost of repairs

And put themselves out of pocket thousands of dollars for pieces of plastic that cost $50 to produce.

What do you think it costs them to design the parts and tool up for them?
Exactly, by selling lots of a part which has high fixed, and low variable production costs, they can ultimately get much more money out of their production..
