You lucky people are siiting in a nice cold room.. oh how I dream of nice cold rooms . Iceland inthe winter ,,would be heaven bout now

My garage inbearable..

the outside concrete temp is 48 , inside at ceiling level its 39 deg , air temp outside is 34 , and the floor temp inside is 31

Now what I would like to do is cool this room down, without resorting to the purchase of an Aircond unit

Any Air conditioning Engineers out there ??

I can pump the air out , but cooling it is another story , I am loathed to use evaporation of water because I am worried about rust , I want to keep the air dryish

Thanks in advance

Stephen

Sit in a tub of water.

Buy lots of fans.

Wind the window down.

Evoparation of LPG should provide a significant temperature drop (if you can figure out what to do with released propane). It appears that there is at least one creative Kiwi bloke who figured out this conandrum, at least the part about beer (http://www.asciimation.co.nz/beer/).

That is a very trick site.

Chilly bin + ice works for me!

Google 'Peltier'.

Peltier devices are generally used to cool small surface areas or 'things', but are also extremally effective when used in conjuntion with a decent fan.
