What a great race.
Caparossi, shit. What can one say about the little Italian. Totally blitzed everyone.
My personal highlight was the Pedrosa/Rossi battle. Garantee if you spoke to Rossi right now he'd say he loved that. That's why he still races.
Hayden down in 9th. Sweet.
To be honest, for the first time ever I was almost hoping someone (Pedrosa) would beat Rossi to the line. I do say ALMOST.
As I've said previously, if Rossi doesn't win the Championship, Pedrosa is my man. Like Rossi, he just reaks of natural talent, but doesn't rely on it (like Stoner does). Instead he's got the quality Racing head on his sholders, and willingness to work hard.
Bring on the next round. Another result like this, maybe Pedrosa first, Rossi second, and Hayden down whocareswhere, will make for a fantastic end to the season.
Please tell me someone has a torrent. Willing to seed after I leach for a few days.

It wasn't the best race so far. But you're right, the Rossi/Pedorsa thing was good until Vale got bored and rode away. I don't know about Pedrosa, if he wasn't such a lightweight Spanish racing anchovy, would he be as quick?
I read that he's got a 20 kg advantage over Hayden for example. Designers would give both nuts to have that kind of weight margin.
How about Hayden getting mugged by all and sundry. Bugger!

Hayden's clutch was fucked.
You'll note he didn't pull in, or park it by a fence and kick the crap out of it.

OK ~ as far as spectating goes, there have been better races. However, in regards to the season, this was a pivotal race.
Just like the first round, Capirossi was absolutely flying at the front giving the squirming Ducati all he had. Amazing to see what the Duke can pull out when it's fully sorted. Awesome!
Meanwhile, although Rossi was riding the wheels off the M1, I couldn't help feeling like his bike was noticeably 'slow'. The 4 cyclinder just doesn't have the power of the 5 cycliner RCV's and I'm wondering if they've 'backed it off a click' to keep it more reliable. They definitely can't afford another break-down.
Hayden must have had something going wrong for him as he steadily got picked off by Roberts, Melandri, Stoner, Hopkins and even Nakano at the end.
Great news for Rossi - he couldn't have had it any better if he'd planned it that way. :2thumbsup:
Anyway, the rest of the season just got a whole lot more interesting and it's going to be a real fight all the way to the last lap of the last race.
...as opposed to Rossi's 100+ point lead last year

I was THERE! Managed to time business in Europe with being in Czech Rep at time of GP. Great atmosphere, great viewing circuit, beautiful part of the world.
From where I was sitting (turn 6) Capirossi was awesome. The only one consistently loose with the rear wheel.

Kropotkin's race reports on ADVrider are the best I've read,if I miss a race, reading his report make me feel like I got the video sorted.

We didn't see much of Capirossi running away at the front, there was a hell of a lot more interesting stuff going on - but it's fun to watch him riding that thing on the edge all the time....he's almost like an American rider the way the bike is sliding all over the track. It was a tyre race,as Hayden dropping back at the end,and Kenny Roberts Jnr coming forward showed, but Capirossi had it sorted! The Rossi/Pedrosa battle was short, but it's what we've waited for all year, those two going head to head, and not a disapointment - watching them side by side sliding all over the place coming into the corner was awe inspiring.Pedrosa shows no fear, shows no respect for Rossi, shows no emotion, and shows he's the next best rider out there. Not a great race, but was a turning point I think.

Guess that makes him Indy's new favourite rider then.
