Just wondering if anyone here races the 675 Daytona?

Cause' what class would it fall under being a 675cc?

And does anyone race a Triumph, period? :sunny:

Cheers,

The Brits let them in their Supersport class. That's it. No one has ratified the equivalency rule for 675cc triples anywhere else.

I think they can run in F2 cos they're triples.. It's like the SV650s can run in F3 cos they're twins and slow

636 can't run tho, cos it's a 4 and over 600cc, so the ZX6RR only (598cc). Rumours are, that Kawa are dropping the 636 and just doing 600 only. Which could mean a new 750 or 800 RR. Which just screws all the kiwi classes up. The 636 can run in F1 (which has been done for the street races) and clubmans.

No. Kawasaki have a ZX6RR that is 599cc for that class. The 636 is for taking it to the streets. Whatever that means.

The question was if someone raced a 675, so I answered that, nothing said about 600 or 636

MNZ have had a rule change to let them compete in the 600 sports production class in NZ, there are two of them racing in Christchurch

F2 is only really run at a club level, it allowed for more modification than the current 600 sport production rules presently do

Yes, nicko does, and the thing gets along alright too!!
You can always race them in F1/superbike, but yeah, F2 they are allowed, as are 750 twins.

Sort of

There is no longer any official MNZ F1 or F2 class as they have been superseded by the Production Superbike (1000cc) and Sport Production (600cc) classes, which run to different rules (less modification) than the old F1 and F2 Classes used to allow
