Just thought I'd better say "Hi there". I just joined up yesterday and have had a look around, seems like a nice place... I've been riding for 15 years, first had a 1978 Yamaha RS125 for a year or so, then got my 1984 Yamaha SR250, which I still have. I need to get rid of the ignition problem before I can sell it though. Upgraded to the Kawasaki Vulcan 800A about 2.5 weeks ago, much more relaxing to ride on the motorways. Anyway, see you all around here somewhere I guess :)
PS, What's the "L-Plate Rider" note next to my name, as I don't have a L plate on my bike and I can't find anything to turn any reference to it off.

nice to meet you spider, i hope to see you out and about on the roads around here.
the l-plate reference is just a ranking system based on the number of posts you have - jump on in and it'll go away soon enough.
p.s. there are plans for a fairly big ride on the 1st of october around here.

Have just spotted the ranking system, I had to spot it after I asked :) . I noticed that ride in the calendar, I'll have to see if I can convince the wife that it's a good opportunity to drop something off to relatives in Featherston :)

There was an old lady who swallowed a spider.
He higgled and jiggled and wiggled inside her.
Oh why couldn’t that old lady have been 24?
Then that spider would have gone back for more….
Welcome to the site!
