For anyone planning to visit Wales, they can now hire Wales own bike chauffeur service. Dragonride Trikes, based in Penrith, ferries clients around using a German-made 1600cc WK Family Trike, which can carry a rider and two passengers.

Martin Cook, a senior education lecturer at who is behind the venture, said, "I haven't been a biker all my life. A number of years ago I was going through a period of change and I got into bikes. I just thought, I'd better do it now before I can't get onto the damn things!”

“Then, a couple of years ago, I was lucky to go on round-the-world travels and I took a similar trip in Sydney. I spent 11 months thinking, 'We haven't got the weather but we have got the scenery.”

Cook works mainly in the area around Cardiff Bay, the Vale of Glamorgan, Gower and Brecon. The trips cost from £15. The company is also looking to expand to offer trike hire from between four hours to a fortnight.
