Basically, as the header states, i have virtually a whole ZXR250c broken down to parts for sale.(to help fund my Kwaka 636 fund!)

So far, I have someone interested in the rear Fairings and front sub-frame, the rest is fair game to those who want parts.

Either message here or PM me to see if the parts you need have been sold yet.

I can also be txt'd on 021 412 813.

Let me know what you need!

-One rear swing arm, one side is scratched

I'm asking more out of curiosity as I don't have much cash, but how much would you sell almost the entire bike except fairings?

Brett

Well, firstly the bike is now entirely in parts strewn across the length and breadth of my garage so I hope that you are good at putting htings back together:gob: . I just finished rebuilding one bike fron the tyres up, and it is not an easy task (bear in mind that I did not have any stands or lifters to hold the frame or engine in place), but yeah, it took a while!
Gave the whole bitch a good clean down tho, and it looks mint.

Secondly, i used the frame from the bike in parts to re-build the other bike, and the frame from this bike has been dereg'd so would have to be re-registered...a lengthly process, although being bare it would be a piece of piss for an engineer to ascertain that the frame is still mint.

Thirdly, and to answer your question...i don;t know! How much is it all is worth..a grand or so????who knows...

I really like that idea!! I think that they could be made to work, however you would need to sort out some rotors that would fit onto your buckets wheels. also the zxr250c is a twin disk brake, so you would need to modfiy the rim enough to hold two rotors, and the calipers would need to have some brackets made up to hold onto the fork/frame.

what i was thinking was,

to remove the callipers and "attach" it to my set up, ??
but the thought of twin discs on a bucket...:gob: :Punk:

Oh, also engine has lost compression in one cylinder, and the rest are getting tired, only really good for parts or a rebuild, carbs are still immaculate however.

Also, recently found out that the brake rotors are A model specific, from the look of them the offset is a bit different to the C models. So they could either be used on an A model, or if someone is desperate, buy the wheels and rotors and they will fit.

What do you reckon you stuffed when you binned? Might be able to guestimate what you need, and thus get hold of most of the parts...if you manage to get it back that is!

Yeh im still waitin on PM for forks if they fit a A model

man that depends if its an a1 or an a2. the a2 uses most of the same components as the c model. a good way to check is to have a look at the rear swingarm, or the gear lever. if you have the boxy square swingarm, and a straight gear lever then its an a1. the a2 has a swingarm which gets thinner towards the back and the gear lever is bent downwards. of course thats assuming that they are original. you can also caheck by the chassis number as well but ive forgotten what they were.

you're welcome :scooter:

Oh yeah, engine has lost compression in 3rd cylinder. Pulled rocker cover off, and the motor has just had the cam chain done. Motor looked pretty good inside bar the missing compression. If i have time, i MAY replace the rings, and that should hopefully sort her out.

Did you screw in the plug properly? That seemed to fix my RG's compression problems

Brett

Yeah, we ran it a few times, but now you have made me doubt myself, will do it again later.
