I read an article about a bike being in an accident on the A23 bus lane in London (one of the ones being trialled for bike use).
There was a comment from some local market trader, who was moaning about bikes being allowed to use the lane. He came up with some comment about how he was involved in an accident where he hit a bike from behind, then grumbled about how fast the bike was going!
Surely, to hit the bike from BEHIND, he must have been going faster, or at least matching/close to the speed and/or be too close when the bike stopped?
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black...
