I got a Chrome KBC VR1 helmet and changed the visor to an iridium one straight away, it made my head look like a mirror ball but it was quite cool, then one day I wrote off Bugjuice's old CBR for him and the helmet, so I have a new unused KBC VR series visor up for grabs if any one wants it.

I put it in general biker stuff cos its closer to that then trading, cos i don't want anything for it. Mods feel free to move it if you must

Got a VR 2 series as well and I think the Visor costs about $150. The helmet is expensive but the visors are crap.

I think I paid about $600 for the helmet. The side notch on the visor which grips the teeth breaks really easily. I am on the 3rd Visor in less than 9 months.

Took it back to Holeshot, they were really nice to replace them for free. Notch on the 3rd visor has broken as well and I don't want to take it back again.

Now it doesn't crack open properly, make the noise and grip firmly but loose. I don't know what to do. Any solutions anyone?

Buy a Suzuki and you never have problems with visors not lasting as you have to replace you helmet far more regularly!

Give them a call, obviously if the product is not doing what it is meant to do something is wrong, that needs to be rectified.

Do you change visors a lot? use the pull down slides when changing them?

You could potentially try to strengthen behind the tab, but in my experience of Holeshot, they are good as gold about sorting out problems. Ask them to go back to KBC with it, as I am sure they want to maintain a good reputation of their product!

Yeah, don't buy a KBC again.

the VR KBC's are quite good, mine was good, I just prefer the shark over any other brand now. But I had a hearty accident in my KBC and it did a great great great great wickidly smashing sense in protection from me having brain damage.
I also know of someone who had the same helmet and went headfirst into a range rover who backed out of a driveway on to the road near Whenuapai, he hit the range rover at a considerable amount of knots, landed himself some serious injurys and time in hospital but they praised his lid saying what a good job it had done of protecting his head.

still, buy a shark

Yeah I have a shark at the moment now, it's the lower end of the range being a s500 but still much better than my pervious KBC TK-8 fuel.
