Because of the nice weather, I am going to have to not go to work tomorrow and instead ride my bike to Taupo, have some food and return via Rotorua and Tauranga. Maybe even loop around the Coromandel depending on time.
If anyone is keen to go for a ride I will be leaving West Auckland around 7.30, maybe 8am at the latest. I'm planning to have my license and no speeding tickets when I get back, so just a nice ride in the sun at something close to the speed limit. Should be back in Auckland by dinner time.
I'll check this about 7.30 tomorrow morning to see if there are any takers.
Or email on craigstewart288@hotmail.com or text on 027-664-9313.

Not sure which one 22 is, but a couple of hours in any direction sounds good.
I'm going to leave glen eden by about 8am, and hopefully be getting a pie for breakfast and gassing up the bike at the BP at the bombays about 9(ish). I want to be leaving there by 9.30.
So I will be the guy in the black leathers with the black GS1200SS munching a pie and skulling a can of V where all the trucks park beside the BP at the Bombays, until 9.30.

Yea great day out. Sorry for FF , couldnt get hold of Craig after he was underway.
Went Kihikihi, Wharepapa, Whakamarau, Rotorua, Tauranga, Waihi, Paeora and then our respective ways home.
Little traffic and some great roads to burn up the k's

Yeah, sorry to FF man. I was a bit too impatient. If I had waited at Bombay a bit longer I would have got your text and it would have been three of us.
Big cheers to Warren for leading me around the Waikato. Good ride.

My work pissed me off by reimbursing me 40hours leave and taking $800 off me. I only found out when I got paid and discovered it was difficult to pay some bills. So they obviously want me to use up that 40 hours leave.
So depending on the weather, I am going to take a day off, mid week for the next 5 weeks to ride to new and interesting places around the North Island.
I can go 2-3hours and 300kms on a tank of gas so there is not point riding for less than 4-6 hours. (only two tankfulls)
I'm pretty keen to go for some longer rides, especially with more daylight hours available. If anyone gets the urge for midweek riding then post a thread because I don't need much provocation to not go to work.

Fan'frikkin'tastic! Great way to enjoy a day in the middle of a working week to ride! Most excellent fun you had - I'm jealous! Guess I'm going to have to find any excuse to do the same tiki tour on a whim! :Punk:

It is an offense to park on the footpath, outside the IRD, in front of a parking warden who probably wishes he was a policeman.
