Where did you get that trick kit from? Is it a TYGA kit?
I have a VFR which i am going to respray, was thinking of doing it in Repsol colours
Nice work

They do look quite hot in the Tyga kits!!!

Pity they didnt put the RC30/35 into large scale production. Would be mint to have a 750 version looking like that.

kit supplied by tyga courtesy of nsr-dan, painted by simjen, with some custom decals, I love it, I go to my garage just to look at it.

Are you going to put a TYGA muffler on it. Got one on mine, sounds pretty unbeleivable. Only came with two stroke packing in the muffler, so have managed to stuff two sheets of 4 stroke packing in it to shut it up a little, still a tad loud though.
Do you mind me asking what sort of dosh the kit cost?

this bike could be a definite contender for a TYGA kit, provided its only the body that's screwed.

How much do the kits cost?

R6_kid
28th August 2006, 22:04

That's a nice looking bike. Perhaps it'll be what Honda's GP will look like in 10 years time when the cc limit is 400cc.

A classy looking bike.

Winja, Ive never seen any bad comments about the NC30. It's always been regarded as a top bike. You suffering from PMS or what?

Looks quite nice, wouldn't mind something like that as a 2nd bike.
Good work on it, I like the lack of too many busy looking decals.

lol

I think it looks the bees bollocks mate. I wnt to do up a CBR400 in all the tyga gear. Could probably have paid for an old 600 afterward though

Must say that by far that's the best looking 400 I've virtually seen after sniffing around for about 6 months online.

Obviously with the Tyga Kit it would but nice finish and looks awesome and I am sure you'd feel proud everytime you see the bike.

Pitty it can't do 250 K's and hour to do a runner from cops in case you need to :p

Check out some info on tyga kits here (http://tyga-performance.com/site/index.php)

will do over 200 indicated......... and its not speed that will win a chase but smarts.

wikkid!
looks great!

only part i kinda 'don't like' is the bit going from the fairing to meet the tank, across the frame.

other than that, money well spent dude!

do they do kits for RFs, i wonder?

Sure if you know your way around in Albany Industrial :p Any idea what cops limits are. Thought they weren't allowed to go over a certain limit if the chase went to fast? 200 k's or something?

Wouldn't rely too much on a rumour like that, and even if it was true who says the individual cop is going to stick to all the rules.

You aren't allowed to go over 100 either, and it's just possible that you might not be only person in the world who is prepared to ignore the occasional rule...

Ummm, OK, maybe I'm the only one, but doesnt look quite right to me. I personally dont like the headlight treatment on the Tyga kit, makes it look too "scooterish"! I'd go with a much smaller headlight or two, more like a Suzuka 8 Hour racer. Also the seat unit on that bike looks too big, look how far it extends out the back, certainly wouldnt want to flip it. Heres a RVF400 with the same kit. The tail section doesnt seem to extend the same length as the NC30 one does. Just my opinion, and does look good in red though. I'd look at a dark screen for it though if available.
