RE: MR Motorcycles Charity Trail Ride Series 2006/2007

Mr Motorcycles are proud to announce their dates foe the 2006/2007 series. Last year the series attracted 2300 riders to the 6 events, generating tens of thousands of dollars to small communities in the Franklin and North Waikato area’s. This is the 16th year the series has run.

This years series sees 5 out of the 6 rides using the open loop method of trail rides, where a 30-40 km loop is marked and riders are free to ride it for as many times as they like. This was introduced due to the number of riders that are attending and for the safety and enjoyment of all involved.

Also returning for the 3rd year is the Kids loop at 5/6 rides. This is set up for smaller and less experienced riders to be able to ride in a smaller more controlled environment. Making the day more enjoyable for the whole family.

The dates for this year are

Sunday 26th November Glen Murray Hall

Sunday 10th December Paparimu School

Sunday 11th February Naike

Sunday 11th March Waerenga

Sunday 25th March Wairamarama Hall

Sunday 15th April Waikaretu Beach Run
(No Kids Loop, this is a lead trail ride)

Any more information please contact Craig or Scott at Mr Motorcycles, 5 Stadium Drive, Pukekohe, 09 238 3176, email scott@mrmotorcycles.co.nz.

Yay! I absolutely love this trail ride series. These were the first rides i learnt on and i've been coming back ever since...

The Glen Murray ride and Beach ride are my favourite. The Glen Murray one should be great this year with an open loop setup because last year i thought it finished way to early. Last years beach ride was a bit disapionting been rained out and the attitude and decisions made by the farmer on the first piece of land. I thought the second half could have been an optional extra for the extra confident riders out there. But i do completely understand the decision was made for the safety of all the riders etc, so we can just look for to a great one this year!

Marked it on my motorsport wall planner and very much looking forward to it!
